Prof. Audrey Macklin, Diana Juricevic and Cheryl Milne - "A chance to do the right thing"

The University of Toronto Faculty of Law's International Human Rights Program and David Asper Centre for Constitutional Rightsjoined forces to intervene in the appeal of the Omar Khadr case before the Supreme Court of Canada.

Following the court's decision in the case on Jan. 29, 2010, Diana Juricevic, acting director of the International Human Rights Program, Cheryl Milne, executive director of the David Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights, and Prof. Audrey Macklin, co-counsel for the intervenors, wrote a commentary in the Globe and Mail calling on the government of Canada to act on the Supreme Court's judgement ("A chance to do the right thing," February 1, 2010).
