Morgan Sim is the founder of Morgan Sim Law where her practice includes civil litigation, human rights, and administrative law, with an emphasis on matters that arise in the workplace. She has broad experience related to wrongful dismissals, professional discipline, disability benefits and accommodation, workplace sexual harassment, and discrimination. Morgan has worked on cases before all levels of court in Ontario and regularly acts for clients before the Ontario and federal human rights tribunals. She’s also had the privilege of assisting with cases before the Supreme Court of Canada, the ICTR, and the High Court of Kenya. She is long-time volunteer and current Board member for The Equality Effect.
Louis Century is a partner at Goldblatt Partners. Before joining the firm, he clerked for Justice Richard Wagner at the Supreme Court of Canada.
During law school at the University of Toronto, Louis was a student caseworker at Downtown Legal Services where he represented low-income clients in criminal and immigration matters. Louis held positions at the International Criminal Court working for a defence team, at the Canadian Council for Refugees as a research fellow, and at the Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights working on constitutional appeals. Louis has also conducted refugee status determinations for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Nairobi.
Jointly with his law degree, Louis completed a Master of Global Affairs at the Munk School of Global Affairs, for which he spent one semester studying at Sciences Po in Paris, and was the co-editor-in-chief of the Journal of International Law and International Relations. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Development Studies from the University of King’s College and Dalhousie University.
Louis was called to the Ontario Bar in 2014. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and The Advocates’ Society. Raised in Montreal, Louis is bilingual in English and French.

Sofia Ijaz is the founder of Ijaz Law. She is a Canadian refugee and immigration lawyer based in Toronto, Canada.
Since 2015, Sofia has acted as legal counsel to migrants and refugees in Canada on a wide range of matters including refugee claims and appeals, judicial reviews, stays of deportation, complex family sponsorships and strategic constitutional litigation. She spent the first eight years of her law career practicing with a leading Canadian refugee and immigration firm in Toronto.
Sofia holds a law degree from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Affairs and Middle East Studies from the University of Virginia. She studied Arabic at the Institut Français du Proche-Orient in Damascus, Syria and Yarmouk University in Irbid, Jordan.
Nader practises criminal, regulatory and constitutional law. He defends clients accused of white-collar crimes, violent offences, drug offences and professional misconduct. Canadian Lawyer has named him one of the Top 25 Most Influential Lawyers in Canada (2020), while Best Lawyers in 2022 named him Criminal Defence Lawyer of the Year (Toronto Region).
In addition to a busy trial practice, Nader appears regularly in the appellate courts, including in more than 30 cases at the Supreme Court of Canada.
With a reputation as a champion for the underdog, Nader acts regularly for clients seeking to vindicate their constitutional rights in high-profile cases. He has acted for the wrongfully accused and wrongfully convicted. He also acts for Indigenous groups, environmental NGOs, and civil liberties organizations in constitutional cases.
Nader is a veteran Adjunct Professor at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law, where he has taught the Law of Evidence and currently teaches a popular class on crime and punishment. He also serves on the Advisory Board of UofT’s David Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights and is a Board Member of the Canadian Civil Liberties Association.
