The March issue of Rights Review is now online! 

Sahar Sayyad (2L) and Seána Glennon (LLM) write about their trip to the 40th Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva to watch delivery of the report of the UN special rapporteur (SR) on the right to adequate housing, Leilani Farha. 

Anne-Rachelle Boulanger (4L JD/MGA) writes about the Report of the 2017/2018 External Audit for Detention ReviewsThe IHRP, along with the David Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights, the Canadian Association for Refugee Lawyers and the Refugee Law Office of Legal Aid Ontario, are collaborating on a report that will provide recommendations regarding meaningful safeguards of procedural fairness in immigration detention review hearings.

Chelsey Legge (4L JD/MPP) writes about the IHRP project supporting the UN Independent Expert on the enjoyment of human rights by persons with albinism, Ms. Ikponwosa Ero. This article includes an in-depth interview with Ms. Ero about her UN mandate and her experiences as a human rights advocate more broadly.
