IHRP students contribute to the UN Special Rapporteur’s report on rights-based housing strategies

Students at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Law, Lauren Pinder and Jeremy Greenberg assisted United Nations Special Rapporteur on the right to housing Leilani Farha in preparing her annual report to the UN Human Rights Council. The report provides much needed guidance to governments at the national and sub-national level on what they must do in order to adhere to their human rights obligations, to implement the right to housing, and to combat pervasive inequality that has arisen from the treatment of housing as a commodity.
